Toys at School

Morning cavity search  pocket check yielded a Bakugan, a miniature skate board, and a slinky - all on board for use while in school.  After I confiscated said items, I explained to the boys that they could play with them when they got home this afternoon.

Quinn: "But MOM!  That's not until DINNER TIME!  I'll have to go all day without toys!!"
Mom:  "You'll be learning.  You're not supposed to be playing with toys at school."
Colby: "What about on recess?  There's NOTHING to do out there!"
Mom: "No balls for soccer or basketball?  No slides, swings, merry go rounds?  Jump ropes?  Friends?"
Colby: "All that stuff is boring". 

Oi Vey.  We have six year olds that suffer from a serious lack of imagination.  Recess used to be my favorite part of the school day!
